BANNEST
HILL COTTAGE, HESKET NEWMARKET
Driving Directions:
From the M6 take the A66 signposted Keswick. Shortly after a long
dual carriageway take a right turn at The Sportsman Inn, set back
on the right side, signed for Hutton Roof. Follow this road through
Berrier and keep straight on until you see a turning on the left
to Hesket
Newmarket. Take this small road and go over a bridge,taking a right
up a hill. Bannest Hill is set back at the top of the rise on the
left hand side. If you go too far you will meet
a cattle grid.
Coming from Carlisle take the route to Caldbeck. Go through Caldbeck
to Hesket Newmarket. From Hesket Newmarket take the higher road
signed to Mungrisdale. Go up the hill and
take the first left. Follow this road until you meet a bridge with a house either side. Take a left turn immediately over the bridge, signed Greystoke. 50 yards after the cattle grid turn right to Bannest Hill.

FOUNTAIN
COTTAGE, KESWICK
Driving Directions:
Either -
Take the Keswick by-pass and exit at the Crosthwaite Road round
about. At the junction with High Hill turn left, and Fountain
Cottage is a few yards on the right.
Parking is at the rear of the cottage. Take the first right
after the cottage (by Lakeland View Bed and Breakfast) down a narrow
lane turning right through blue gate.
Or-
Proceed through the centre
of Keswick along Main Street and over the River Greta to High
Hill. Fountain Cottage is on the
left hand side just before the junction with Crosthwaite Road
opposite the old fountain. Park as above.
Public Transport: Nearest bus station is Keswick
(¼ mile). Nearest railway station is Penrith (15 miles).

POACHERS COTTAGE, KESWICK
Driving Directions:
Follow the M6 and take the A66 signposted Keswick. Follow the Keswick by-pass and exit at the Crosthwaite Road round about. Poachers Cottage is about 50 yards on the right hand side next to the Pheasant Inn. Parking is to the side of the cottage in the designated space.
