Booking Conditions: Reservations are accepted on the basis of these conditions:-

1. The applicant certifies that he or she is authorised to sign the Booking Form on behalf of all the persons who will occupy the property during the period for which he/she has booked it. and that they are all, apart from infants, aware of the Booking Conditions. The brochure description of the properly clearly indicates the maximum number of guests who may occupy it. Exceeding this number constitutes a breach of contract and the owners have the right to terminate the booking forthwith and all monies paid by the applicant will be forfeit.

2. No booking will be accepted unless a Booking Form has been filled in by the applicant and sent to the Owners with a deposit. Bookings arc not complete until the owners have written accepting.

3. Bookings for Fountain Cottage and Poachers Cottage are from 14.OOhrs (2.00pm) on arrival day until 10.00am on departure day unless otherwise stated. Bookings for Bannest Hill Cottage are from 16.00hrs (4.00pm) on arrival day until 10.00am on departure day unless otherwise stated. Bookings must be accompanied by a £100 non-refundable deposit for each week booked.

4. The balance of rent must be paid at least 4 weeks before commencement of the booking. Cheques must be payable to 'W.E. Preston'.

5. Clean fresh bed linen and all other normal requisites are provided free of charge.

6. The property must not be sub-let.

7. Any breakages, loss or damage to the property, its fixtures or contents must be made known to the owners and paid for by the person in whose name in the booking is made.

8. The accommodation needs only a minimum of housework, but due to the limited amount of cleaning which can be done between holiday Icttings. all tenants arc requested to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition so that the next visitors can also enjoy their holiday.

9. On arrival all tenants are asked to check the property and its contents for breakages. damage or nuisance as they will find themselves held responsible when the next tenants arrive.

10. All tenants arc asked to treat the property as they would if it were their own home. This will help yourselves and others enjoy their stay.

11. If the property is not available due to damage by fire or storm or for any other reason outside the control of the Owners or for any reason the Owners are not able to comply with this Agreement then the Owners shall refund the Applicant the full amount of the monies paid and the Owners' liability is limited to the refunding of such monies.

12. Representations both verbal and visual contained in advertising matter are made in good faith but neither they nor oral representation form part of any agreement between the Owners and the Applicant.

13. The Owners will not be liable for any accident, damage, loss. injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property which the Applicant or any other person may suffer arising out of. or in anyway connected with the letting however caused.

14. The owners must be notified at the time of booking if the applicant intends taking a pet on holiday. A single adult house trained dog may be allowed in Fountain Cottage or Poachers Cottage on condition the Applicant guarantees the pet will not be left unattended in the property, that it will not be allowed upstairs or on the furnishings and that it will be exercised away from the property. Pet owners must bring suitable bedding with their animals and guarantee to accept full responsibility in the event of any damage. A charge is made which must be sent with the deposit. Any owner who lakes a pet into the collage without permission or without notifying the Owners on the Booking Form is in breach of Contract and the Owners have the right to terminate the booking forthwith and retain all monies paid by the Applicant.
